What we store

If you accept nothing, this website installs no cookies on your device. Nor does it load third-party services: the fonts are served from our own server and there is no advertising, no social networks and no embedded maps. You will find each centre's address written out, plus a button that opens the map application on your own phone.

The only thing stored is your decision about cookies, and it is not stored in a cookie: it goes into your browser's local storage, under the name lamarina-consentimiento. It is there so we do not ask you again, it never leaves your device and it is not sent to anyone. It stays until you change it or clear your browser data.

Cookies that are switched on only if you accept them

Until you accept a category, nothing is downloaded from Google — not even the measurement script. It is not that the cookies are installed and left unused; they are never installed at all.

Analytics. If you accept it, Google Analytics 4 is switched on so we can see how many people visit the site, which pages are useful and which centre people come from. Cookies: _ga and _ga_VE0H742485, lasting two years. They are not used for advertising.

Advertising. If you accept it, Google Ads measurement is switched on so we can see which ads bring visits and calls. Cookie: _gcl_au, lasting ninety days. Google may also use cookies on its own domains if you interact with an ad.

We never use data about your health or your hearing to target advertising, to build audiences, or to show you ads again. The advertising category is there to measure ads, not to profile you by a hearing problem.

The notice: accepting and rejecting cost the same

• Reject is a button identical to accept: same size, same colour, one tap. It is not hidden in a submenu.
• There is a third option, Configure, to accept some categories and not others.
• No box is pre-ticked. Boxes appear ticked only if you had accepted them before.
• If you do not answer, nothing is switched on. Closing or ignoring the notice does not count as accepting.

How to change your decision

You can change it whenever you like from the Cookie preferences link at the foot of every page. It opens the same panel, showing what you chose last time.

How to control cookies from your browser

Regardless of the above, you can set your browser to block or delete cookies at any time from its privacy options.

Who receives this data

If you accept either category, the provider of those cookies is Google, acting as a data processor and handling the data under its own terms. You will find the detail on the controller, purposes, retention periods and your rights in the privacy policy.
