MaX is Signia's new hearing aid platform, and the Pure Charge&Go MaX is its first model. Using the information Signia provides, we explain what's new, how its three levels differ, how long the battery lasts and how it connects to your phone and TV. First, one important point: the right hearing aid depends on each person's hearing, and not every model suits everyone.
1. What Signia MaX is and which model it includes
Signia is a hearing aid brand owned by the WS Audiology group. MaX, short for ‘Multi-adaptive Xperience’, is its new platform, meaning the technology inside the hearing aid. According to Signia, it went on sale on 24 August 2026 in some countries, followed by the rest.
- Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX. This is the first hearing aid on the new platform. It is a rechargeable RIC: it sits behind the ear, and a thin wire carries the sound to a small speaker, called the receiver, which sits inside the ear. Signia plans more styles later.

What the levels mean. Signia sells the Pure Charge&Go MaX in three technology levels: MaX7, MaX5 and MaX3. Level 7 is the most complete. We summarise them in the next section.
Colours. According to Signia, there are 8:
Silver grey
Titanium grey
Black
Dark champagne
Beige
Honey blonde
Rose gold
Chestnut brown
Water and dust. According to Signia, it is IP68 certified, which indicates resistance to moisture and dust.
2. What's new: four artificial intelligence systems
Signia calls its new technology ‘Acoustic Intelligence’. According to Signia, it consists of four neural networks, a type of artificial intelligence (AI), working at the same time, each handling something different:
- RealTime Conversation Enhancement. According to Signia, it locates the people talking around you and enhances their voices, so you can follow a group conversation in noise.
- Own Voice Processing. According to Signia, it makes your own voice sound natural to you. It now adjusts itself, with no calibration needed at the centre.
- Soundscape adaptation. According to Signia, it analyses where you are and adapts the hearing aid to each situation.
- Dynamic noise control. According to Signia, it recognises what kind of noise is around you and reduces it without turning down the voices you want to hear.

Signia publishes its own studies with figures on this. They are manufacturer data and we do not repeat them here.
How the levels differ. Here are some figures from Signia's feature sheet:
| Level | Channels | AI focus streams | Spatial speech focus | 12 kHz bandwidth | Music programmes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MaX7 | 48 | 3 | ✓ | ✓ | 3 |
| MaX5 | 36 | 1 | — | — | 3 |
| MaX3 | 32 | — | — | — | 1 |
- AI focus streams: according to Signia, they isolate and follow speech independently. Three in MaX7, one in MaX5.
- Spatial speech focus: according to Signia, it points the microphones towards the person speaking even if they are beside or behind you, for example in the car. MaX7 only.
- The four AI features, wind noise control and phone connection are available at all three levels.
3. Connectivity: phone and television
According to Signia, the Pure Charge&Go MaX supports Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE Audio, at all three levels.
- Calls. According to Signia, you can take hands-free calls: the hearing aid picks up your voice and streams the call straight to you. You answer and end calls with the button on the hearing aid.
- Television. According to Signia, with the TV Sound accessory the TV sound goes straight to your hearing aids.
- Telecoil. According to Signia, it works with hearing loop systems, such as those at some counters and venues.
- Remote control. There is an optional small remote control that fits on a key ring.
- Signia One app (iPhone and Android). According to Signia, you can use it to adjust your hearing aids, and it includes Signia Assistant, a chat that answers questions and suggests sound adjustments. With TeleCare, your hearing care professional can adjust the hearing aid remotely.

Auracast, later on. Auracast is a Bluetooth system for broadcasting sound to many devices at once, for example in cinemas, airports or some recent TVs. According to Signia, MaX is ready for it and will be enabled by an update before March 2027.
Tinnitus. According to the feature sheet, the hearing aid includes the sound signals Signia uses in tinnitus therapy (ringing in the ears), at all three levels. If you are interested, we can look at it at your appointment.
Free hearing test. We set aside between an hour and an hour and a half for the first appointment. It is painless, there is no obligation, and at the end we explain the results.
About the hearing test4. Battery and charger
The Pure Charge&Go MaX is rechargeable.
- Battery life. According to Signia, up to about 30 hours of use on one charge.
- Charging. According to Signia, a full charge takes about four hours, and half an hour of charging gives up to six hours of use.
- Portable charger. According to Signia, it comes with a portable charger that holds up to four full charges, for charging without a plug.
As with any rechargeable hearing aid, actual battery life depends on how you use it: if you spend many hours streaming from your phone or TV, it will last less.
5. Is it right for me? What it depends on
You cannot tell from reading a guide. The right hearing aid depends on each person's hearing, and not every model suits everyone. What matters most:
- How you hear, in each ear. We check this with a full hearing test.
- Your ear: its shape, earwax, and how comfortable you are with something inside it. Which receiver and which ear piece each person needs is decided with the hearing test and by looking at the ear.
- Your daily life: whether you spend a lot of time on the phone, watch TV, or go out to noisy places.
- Your hands and eyesight, for putting the device in, taking it out and charging it.
- The technology level: not every feature is available at every level.
A model being new does not mean it is the right one for you. Sometimes another model is a better fit, from Signia or from another brand. If so, we will tell you.
6. How to try it with us
First, the hearing test. Choosing a hearing aid makes no sense without knowing how you hear. We set aside between an hour and an hour and a half for the first appointment. At the end, we explain the results. If you don't need a hearing aid, we will tell you.
Then, the trial. If the results point that way, we show you the options that suit you. We work with several brands, including Signia. You try it before you decide.
Where. We have the Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX at all three of our centres: Moraira, Jávea and El Albir. We always fit it after the hearing test, and only if it is a good option for you.
